From the Saltmarsh: art, science, poetry, ecology – a free day of talks at Cleethorpes Library 9th July
Join a free day of talks on Saturday 9 July from 11.00am to 3.00pm (including light lunch) and is focused on the art and science of the saltmarsh.

Veronica Sekules (curator and environmental activist) Veronica is coming up from Norfolk to speak about her work running the only gallery in the U.K. devoted to environmentalism and art https://www.groundworkgallery.com/

Linda Ingham (artist) who will be speaking about her recent Arts Council funded work Gather working with bird reserves in Lincolnshire and beyond. Mick Binnion (conservationist/ecologist) who is familiar with the Humber dune system and saltmarsh and has worked alongside many conservation organizations, charities and local government. He is a specialist in botany and British wild orchids.
Harriet Tarlo (poet) and Judith Tucker (artist) who will discuss their Arts Council funded project Hideaway, will also be launching their new artist book, Saltwort, which is a collection of paintings and poems of Saltmarsh plants.
