Join Linda Ingham for a day’s workshop based on the RSPB Blacktoft Sands Nature Reserve in the East Riding of Yorkshire.

During the session you will be taken on a virtual tour through parts of the reserve using video, photographs and other visual and aural resources connecting to this magnificent location at the apex of where the Humber Estuary meets the Rivers Trent and Ouse.

You will consider elements of landscape and place through a series of inspirational prompts, demonstration of techniques and access to texts and media enabling you to create a series of studies in your sketch books responding to Blacktoft Sands.

The seasons, social history, current ecology, wildlife and your own interests will inform your work and there will be space for discussion and one-to-one support during the day.
