Plants in Place: GATHER 1-day Workshop – Saturday 16 October – Far Ings National Nature Reserve, VISITOR CENTRE – £65 + £5 materials, 10am – 4pm

A day on the reserve observing the autumn colours and gathering plant-matter from which you will create a series of autumnal studies and learn some sustainable craft techniques.

The British countryside in autumn can be a wonderful sight; even if the glowing colours of the trees are less in evidence, a walk on the Far Ings nature reserve provides many sites that are imbued with atmosphere.

This workshop takes us out into the reserve where we will hear the sound of the breeze in the reed beds, birds, and see the colours of the plants and trees gathering their autumn hue.
